These Terms of Use govern your use of Daily Whisper, a mobile application provided by Sharooq Salaudeen. By downloading, accessing, or using Daily Whisper, you agree to these Terms.

  1. About Daily Whisper

Daily Whisper provides short daily messages intended for encouragement, reflection, and personal motivation. The app may display messages in the app and, if you allow notifications, send local notifications on your device.

Daily Whisper is not intended to provide medical, mental health, legal, financial, religious, or professional advice. The messages are general inspirational content only.

  1. Your Use of the App

You agree to use Daily Whisper only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You must not misuse the app, attempt to interfere with its operation, reverse engineer it, or use it in a way that violates applicable laws or the rights of others.

  1. Notifications

Daily Whisper may ask your permission to send notifications. Notifications are optional and can be turned off or changed through your device settings or the app settings.

Notification delivery may depend on your device, operating system, settings, battery status, and other factors outside our control. We do not guarantee that notifications will arrive at any specific time or every day.

  1. Local Storage

Daily Whisper stores certain settings and notification-related information locally on your device, such as onboarding status, notification preferences, and scheduled message records. The app does not require an account.

If you delete the app or clear local app data, locally stored settings and records may be removed.

  1. Health and Safety

Daily Whisper is designed for light encouragement and reflection. It is not a crisis service and should not be relied on in emergencies or situations involving harm, self-harm, abuse, medical distress, or mental health crisis.

If you believe you may be in danger or need urgent support, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.

  1. Content

The messages, design, text, graphics, app name, and other materials in Daily Whisper are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may use the app for your own personal use. You may not copy, sell, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app or its content except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

  1. Third-Party Services

Daily Whisper may rely on platform services provided by Apple, Google, Expo, or your device operating system to install, run, or deliver app features such as notifications. Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and policies.

  1. No Warranty

Daily Whisper is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not make any warranties that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or suitable for your particular needs.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of or inability to use Daily Whisper.

  1. Changes to the App or Terms

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue Daily Whisper or any part of it at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide notice through the app, our website, or another reasonable method.

Your continued use of Daily Whisper after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.

  1. Termination

You may stop using Daily Whisper at any time by deleting the app from your device. We may suspend or terminate access to the app if we believe you have violated these Terms or if continued operation of the app is no longer practical.

  1. Apple App Store

If you downloaded Daily Whisper from the Apple App Store, your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for Daily Whisper except as required by applicable law.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining sections will remain in effect.
